Johann Oscar and Maria Fanny

.
Johann Oscar Brehm was german, bavarian. He was born in Hofheim, Hassberg-Unterfranken, in the 1st of September 1856. His father was Valentin Brehm, an architect, and his mother was Franziska Horn Brehm.
As far as we know, Oscar was a "teacher of languages and music" (at least this is what he declared to the british authorities when he got married to Fanny).

Maria Fanny Hierons was english. She was born in Twickenham (Greater London), around 1861. Her father was a local "labourer", William Hierons, and her mother was Charlotte Barker.

We know that Oscar and Fanny got married on the 26th April 1879, at St Mary's Church - Twickenham-Middlesex, district of Brentford in England. Henry Francis Limpus was the parish vicar at the time. The witnesses were Reuben Hierons and Emma Wing.

By the time they got married, they resided in no.2 Lion Road (Twickenham), probably the bride's family home. It was also on this same adress they were living when, less than one year later, in 1880, their first child was born - Oscar William Valentine Brehm.

By November 1881, when their second child - Adelina Franziska (Sissi) Brehm - was born, the couple were living in no.52 Goldolphin Road (Shepherds Bush, Middlesex, also Greater London).

The third child - Amelia Gertrude (Gerti)Brehm - was born in April 1883. By then, the family was living in no.2 MacFarlane Road, just a few blocks away from the previous adress.

Sometime between 1883 and 1886, the whole family moved to Germany, Oskar's home country, since the 4th child - Anna Beatrice Brehm was born in Regensburg - a bavarian city - in 1886. Anna Beatrice died in Munich in 14 March 1976.

The 5th child was Maria Elsa Brehm (1888-?), followed by Johann Baptist (Hanns) Brehm (1890-1950) and Franz Josef Brehm (1894-1982).
